Black Dog Ride – Raising Awareness of Depression!

VIVO Cafe, 388 George Street, Sydney is hosting the ‘Black Dog Ride Launch Event’ on Monday 23^rd August from 6pm.

On 5^th September over 70 motorbike riders will be travelling over 6000kms in 15 days, staying in 14 different country towns across 4 states in Australia in order to raise awareness for depression and funds for the Black Dog Institute. 

The Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit, educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in depression and bipolar disorder.  Depression impacts 1 in 5 Australians and according to the World Health Organisation, depression will be the number 1 cause of disability by 2030.

Help support Tony Hollingsworth’s fundraising efforts for the Black Dog Ride by attending this fun launch event next Monday.

Tickets are $30 and include entry and finger food as well as the chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes.
