VIVO Cafe now on Foursquare

Have you heard of Foursquare?  It’s the latest social networking sensation to hit Sydney!

VIVO Cafe, 388 George Street, Sydney CBD, is now an official venue of Foursquare and will be regularly offering specials and discounts to Foursquare users. 

If you are not already a member of Foursquare, simply login to www.foursquare.com and sign up.  Similar to Facebook or Twitter, it is a free social networking service with which you can connect with friends and businesses.

People use Foursquare to "check-in" to a venue - which is a way of telling them your whereabouts. When you check-in someplace, Foursquare will tell your friends where they can find you and recommend places to go and things to do nearby.

Foursquare members can check-in at all kinds of places -> cafes, bars, restaurants, parks, homes, offices.

You'll find that as your friends start to use foursquare to check-in, you'll start learning more about the places they frequent. Not only is it a great way to meet up with nearby friends, but you'll also start to learn about their favourite spots, their tips and the new places they discover.

All you need to do is check into VIVO Cafe via the Foursquare application on your mobile phone and show it to the VIVO Cafe staff.  You are then eligible to take advantage of the Foursquare special.
