Angela Vithoulkas of VIVO Cafes was proud to MC, host and launch the new not-for-profit organisation, Project 18, at her flagship store, VIVO Cafe 388 George St, Sydney on 24th November, 2009.

Project 18 is a new charity aiming to fill the lives of Indonesian orphans with hope and happiness.  Millions of Indonesian children become orphans and are forced to fend for themselves on the street.  Project 18 will develop an orphanage and wildlife sanctuary in order to provide these beautiful children with a family upbringing, education and a bright future.

It turned out to be a fantastic girls night out of beauty, fashion and fitness whilst raising funds for this wonderful new charity.  The total amount raised was $1,500 which is great for the first event of this relatively unknown charity.

The organisers received excellent feedback from all who attended and everyone is looking forward to doing it again.

A big thankyou goes out to Exclusive Bags, Vision Personal Training, Perry Ellis Hairdressing, Nailed on Beauty, Gwen Korebrits – personal stylist, and the amazing singer Charmaine Bingwa for contributing to such a wonderful event.
