A recent seminar organised by Business Connect enabled 500 businesswomen to meet Marcus Buckingham, world’s leading expert in personal strengths and internationally renowned management consultant.

Recent research in over 35 developed countries shows that women have become less happy, more anxious and stressed and reveals that as they get older, they grow sadder  (men, by contrast, get happier as they age).  Marcus Buckingham shows women how to buck this trend and create a life of passion, purpose, and performance. He reveals what they can do at home and in the workplace to find the happiness they deserve.

The bestselling author of five books, with more than 3.7 million copies in print, Marcus Buckingham is the founder of TMBC, a management consulting company, and has been hailed as a visionary by corporations such as Toyota, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and Disney.

He has been featured on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” “Larry KingLive,” “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America,” and “The View,” and profiled in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fortune, Fast Company, and Harvard Business Review.

Angela Vithoulkas, of VIVO Cafe Group, took part in the event as a member of a panel of highly successful Australian women including Cassandra Kelly, Joint CEO, Pottinger and Jen Dalitz, SheEO of Sphinxx.  The panel discussed with Marcus Buckingham his latest book titled “Find Your Strongest Life” and shared their own journeys and experiences.

The seminar was a huge success and inspired the women attending to build a life that is successful, satisfied, purposeful, exciting and happy.
